Closed Circuit Coolers
Closed Circuit Coolers, the evolution of open cooling towers, are applied both in industrial and public installations using the same principle of heat loss by evaporation. What differs from open cooling systems is that the fluid circulates inside a closed circuit and does not get in contact with impurities that could foul the utilities cooled.
Closed Circuit Coolers can be used in various applications including:
Dedicated cooling equipment such as Air compressors, extrusion and molding machines for plastic and rubber, pipe mills.
Water cooled chillers for HVAC or Industrial application.
Free cooling - Directly producing chilled water during the cold season bypassing the chiller (with significant energy savings).
